Beren grew up in the exotic forests of the feywild. His family was part of the retinue of a Bralani of Autumn, and his father served as the Bralani’s huntmaster. Beren spent his childhood stalking beasts through the weird wooded vales of his home. As he grew older, however, he became restless and decided to follow in the footsteps of his uncle Immeral. A black sheep of sorts, Immeral had made his way to the prime material plane, and lived his life among the shiftier, less morally restrictive denizens of that world. Beren eventually found his uncle and with his help began taking on second story jobs, pickpocketing, and the occasional murder. After acquiring some basic skills Beren set out to make his own fortunes in the world.
His current adventures have vastly improved his skills at combat, but he still questions the nature of the party’s quest. Why save a world dominated by a weak and stagnant culture? His youth in the feywild taught him that conflict is the path to excellence, and he believes the summer, fall, winter, spring cycle is the expression of a natural phenomenon. Whatever the truth may eventually be, Beren is happy to be in the midst of such a grand battle, and looks forward to every slice his blade makes.
